This Privacy Policy applies to the Lenzeye website (lenzeye.in) and the Lenzeye Android mobile application ("the App"), both operated by Lenzeye ("we", "us", "our"). It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or App, you agree to the practices described here.

Guidelines Acceptance

By using our services, you agree to abide by our Guest Upload Guidelines and Account Registration Guidelines. These guidelines outline acceptable use, content policies, and user responsibilities when uploading files or creating accounts.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored encrypted) when you register.
• Studio / website information: if you create a photography website via the App or site, we store the studio name, address, contact details, social links, and branding assets (logos, QR codes) you provide.
• Photos, videos and other files: content you upload to your galleries or client albums, stored on our secure cloud storage (Wasabi/S3-compatible storage) or, if you choose to connect it, your own Google Drive account.
• Face recognition data: if you use the optional Face Search feature, facial embeddings (mathematical representations of faces, not photographs) are generated from your uploaded event photos so that guests can find their own pictures. This data is used only within your account/album and is not shared with third parties or used for any purpose beyond photo search.
• Biometric login: if you enable fingerprint/biometric login on the App, your fingerprint data never leaves your device — it is verified entirely by your device's operating system. We only receive a confirmation that biometric verification succeeded.
• Device & usage data: access logs, IP address, device type, and app usage statistics, used for security and improving the service.
• Payment information: collected and processed by Razorpay when you purchase a plan. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our servers.

App Permissions We Request

• Camera: to let you capture and upload photos directly from the App.
• Storage / Media access: to let you select and upload existing photos and videos from your device.
• Biometric/Fingerprint: to offer a faster, secure login option (optional, verified on-device).
• Internet access: required for all upload, download, and account features.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Lenzeye service (photo/video storage, client galleries, studio websites); process payments securely via Razorpay; power the optional Face Search feature; send important account, service, or promotional communications; and improve the security and performance of our website and App.

Third-Party Services We Use

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Wasabi (S3-compatible cloud storage) — secure storage of your uploaded photos/videos.
• Google Drive API — only if you explicitly connect your own Google Drive as a storage provider; we access only the app-specific folder needed to store your files.
• Brevo — transactional emails (OTP verification, notifications).

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with the third-party service providers listed above, strictly to operate the service, and with your event guests to the extent you choose to make an album or website publicly accessible.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data and uploaded files for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will process such requests within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Payment Security

All payments are processed through Razorpay's secure payment gateway. We do not store any credit or debit card information on our servers.

Data Protection

We implement robust security measures — including encryption in transit and at rest for stored files, and encrypted password storage — to safeguard your data. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional features (such as Face Search or biometric login) at any time from within the App/website or by contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
